Welcome to Les Aubergistes Lyonnais, where sustainable development dances with enchantment in our hotels.
We firmly believe that hotels and restaurants can be elegant and responsible at the same time. We’re not interested in developing an eco-friendly hotel concept in Lyon to fit in with the current trend. Our CSR commitments are not a posture, but a promise: to build together desirable places to live, sober and fraternal, for a world where ecology, hospitality and respect are harmoniously intertwined.
Our concrete actions as a company with a mission
Governance focused on people
In our hotels and restaurants, it’s not just sustainability that counts. Every member of our team is more than just a cog in the machine.
- We have set up regular interviews to listen to and recognize our employees.
- Regular team events
- Implementation of flexible schedules to offer a balance between professional and personal life.
- Our restaurants close at weekends, because keeping our teams happy is part of our secret recipe.
- Ongoing monitoring and assistance for employees experiencing difficulties in their personal lives
- A company psychologist is also on hand to lend an attentive ear.

A commitment to environmental sobriety
Claiming to be a “CSR hotel” or “green restaurant” requires concrete action:
- Each supplier is carefully chosen for its ecological impact and proximity, like our cosmetics partner “Terre de Mars”, certified “ecocert cosmos natural”, vegan, cruelty free and made in France.
- As holders of labels such as Clef Verte (since 2022) and Accueil Vélo, we’re proud to be one of France’s leading eco-friendly hotels.
- We sort, recycle and collaborate with innovative associations like Elise.
- Even our hospitality products are designed to prevent waste in hotels: available at reception but not systematically provided.
A social and fraternal commitment
Our spaces don’t just receive, they give.
- Collaboration with l’Ouvre Porte (support and reintegration of socially vulnerable people requiring emergency accommodation)
- We make our breakfast room available to Les Petites Cantines at Simplon. Les Petites Cantines is a non-profit network of participatory kitchens based on short-shelf-life products.

You too can take part in this commitment by :
- Using the sorting garbage cans available.
- Use your towels for several days: simply hang them on the coat hooks in your bathroom, or on the towel warmer.
- Turning off lights and air conditioning/heating when leaving the room.
