“At the origin, there is a family heritage, a love of the profession but also of a place that saw me grow up and that I wanted in my turn to make evolve… This place is a hotel, Le Globe et Cecil, witness of a past history and living ground of a whole future of Aubergiste. When I took over the first establishment of the collection in 2009, I had to work on making a place for myself while respecting what had been built. Les Aubergistes Lyonnais is a project that was born yesterday and that is built day after day to be part of time.”

It was by buying a collection of establishments in 2012 that the Aubergistes Lyonnais project came to life. The plural character of our collection has allowed us to succeed in the transmission of the company, to transform a dream into a concrete and operational project, to move from the ambition of a child to the construction of a project.
OPTIMIZE
Times change, our buildings endure but our establishments must evolve with the times. In order to bring the company in line with the times, we have had to adapt our practices to meet the expectations of the sector while respecting our vision of the profession and the ambition that drives us.

We manage places of life that must change, evolve, develop to remain welcoming, lively and surprising… To continue to animate our souls as innkeepers and to share unique moments with our guests. We are growing because it is by multiplying the places that we create new encounters.

Everyone has a building that touches them… a house, a villa, an apartment, no matter the size, a place. Whatever it is, the simple fact of thinking about it, of crossing the threshold, gives us an instant feeling of happiness, of deep and sincere belonging. It is this personal story and this quest for purpose that led Loïc Renart, the first of the Aubergistes Lyonnais to take up the challenge of perpetuating fifty years of work and family investment. To take up the torch and manage in his turn the Globe and Cecil, this magnificent hotel where he grew up and thus to continue the great and beautiful adventure for a whole collection.
